Card-not-present transactions genuinely cost more in interchange than a chip read, because the networks price the added fraud risk into them. That part is real and no processor avoids it. What most processors also do is pile a higher markup on top of online sales and call it an e-commerce rate. We do not. The interchange under your online sales is what it is, and our markup is the same dime it is everywhere else.
